Superior Performance and Strength Compared to Stock
Our 991 GT2RS Intercooler is handcrafted and professionally tig welded in the USA, ensuring the highest level of craftsmanship and durability that is unmatched anywhere else in the aftermarket. Unlike the stock unit that has crimped on cast tanks that can fail under increased boost pressures, this unit features in-house CNC machined billet aluminum end tanks. With the extra strength of the billet, the intercooler can handle increased boost pressures from bolt on mods and higher performance tunes from upgraded turbos.
When comparing the stock intercooler to the CSF by PWR intercooler, you can see we created a package that has double the amount of tubes and half the fin height. The core design features Formula 1 grade turbulated tubes and hemmed/louvered R-fins giving this core increased strength and more surface area contact over the stock intercooler. The turbulated tubes create turbulent airflow inside the core enabling for a greater heat transfer rate than a standard laminar flow tube. With louvered fins, it creates turbulent air flow as air passes through the core also allowing for greater heat dissipation. By eliminating the dreaded heat soak factor of the stock intercooler, our intercooler unlocks a whole new potential for tuning your Porsche GT2RS.
Not only does the intercooler look great with its pristine welds and billet end tanks, but its also easy to install! This unit comes with all the necessary hardware, mounting brackets, and and utilizes factory hoses as well. This allows for a true plug-and-play “drop-in fit” installation that requires absolutely no modifications to install, and does not require trimming of the expensive OEM carbon fiber air ducts.

Hot weather testing in Palm Springs, CA in July 2019 was conducted by BBi Autosport in 111°F (43.89°C) ambient temperatures. Testing results showed, even in these extreme conditions, that Intake Air Temperatures (IATs) never exceeded 125°F (51.67°C) – a delta of approximately 15°F above ambient temperatures. Validating the performance and the ability to eliminate heat soak of the CSF by PWR High-Performance Intercoolers.
